These SMS Messaging Terms apply to text messages sent by SUMOFIBER to a customer's mobile phone. They are part of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Programs We Operate
Account and service messages
If you provide a mobile phone number when you sign up or update your account, you agree we may send text messages related to your account and service. These include billing reminders, payment confirmations, installation updates, outage notifications, appointment reminders, and customer service responses. These messages are part of providing your service and are not marketing.
Marketing messages (opt in required)
If you opt in, we may send text messages about new services, promotions, special offers, and community events. We will only send these messages if you have explicitly opted in to receive them.
How to Opt In
You can opt in to marketing texts by:
- Checking the marketing text consent box on a sign-up form, web form, or paper form
- Texting a keyword we publish (such as JOIN) to a short code we provide
- Telling our customer service team in writing or by recorded phone consent
Your opt in is for the specific number you provide, and the specific program you opt in to.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of marketing texts at any time:
- Reply STOP to any message in the program. We will send a confirmation, and you will not receive further messages in that program.
- Email us at care@sumofiber.com from the number's account holder, or call 1-844-438-7866 (1-844-GET-SUMO)
Opting out of marketing texts does not affect transactional account messages, which are part of your service.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies by program. Account messages are sent only when relevant to your service. Marketing messages are sent no more than a few times per month in any program. Specific frequency is described when you opt in.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Contact your carrier for details. Your consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchasing service or any product.
Carrier Support
Our messages work on most major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Phone Number Changes
If you change your phone number, update your account so we do not send messages to a number that is no longer yours. If a number is reassigned, the new holder may receive a few messages until we are notified.
Privacy
Information collected through SMS programs is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We use third-party messaging providers to deliver texts. These providers are permitted to use your information only to deliver messages on our behalf.
Eligible Recipients
You must be 18 or older to opt in to marketing messages or have permission from a parent or guardian. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for the phone number or that you have authority to consent on the account holder's behalf.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Messaging Terms from time to time. The current version posted on our website is in effect.
